This program was established in 1978. It provides a structured, vocationally-oriented therapeutic day treatment program for individuals with serious mental illness. Many indivuduals have been hospitalized in state psychiatric hospitals and/or local inpatient units, and some are MICA (mentally ill chemical abusers). The program provides an individualized approach to care focused on health and wellness and illness management and recovery principles. Psychiatric services are an integral part of this treatment program.
